a group of travelers from various parts of Rwanda and abroad embarked on a remarkable adventure organized by Legacy Heritage Tours. The trip took them to two of Rwanda’s most iconic destinations: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Rubavu Beach on the shores of Lake Kivu.

The journey began early that morning as participants gathered and were briefed by the Legacy Heritage Tours team. At Volcanoes National Park, they were warmly welcomed by rangers who explained the park’s conservation efforts and the lives of the majestic mountain gorillas. For many, it was their first time seeing gorillas in their natural habitat — a deeply emotional and memorable experience.

Following the breathtaking trek, the group traveled to Rubavu for a relaxing afternoon by Lake Kivu. They enjoyed swimming, boat rides, beach volleyball, and simply unwinding by the water. As the sun set, the evening came alive with traditional music and dance, laughter, and new friendships.

Participants returned home on Sunday full of joy and gratitude, applauding Legacy Heritage Tours for its professionalism, organization, and care. Aline, one of the attendees, said: “It was an incredible experience. I never imagined getting so close to gorillas or that Rubavu could be this beautiful. I’m truly grateful to Legacy Heritage Tours.”

With trips like this, Legacy Heritage Tours continues to showcase Rwanda’s natural wonders while promoting eco-friendly, culturally rich tourism that leaves lasting impressions.
