Your journey begins in Kigali, Rwanda’s warm and vibrant capital. Upon arrival, our friendly guide will greet you and whisk you away on a scenic drive through Rwanda’s stunning landscapes. Day 1: Welcome to Rwanda – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Once you reach Volcanoes National Park, settle into your cozy lodge or hotel, where you can relax and soak in the beauty of your surroundings as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

Start the day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for an informative briefing about your gorilla trek. Led by expert guides and trackers, you’ll venture into the dense rainforest, hiking through the misty jungle in search of a gorilla family. The moment you find them is truly magical, watch these gentle giants interact, play, and go about their daily lives just a few meters away from you. You’ll have up to an hour to observe and take in this unforgettable wildlife encounter.

After your trek, return to your lodge for a well-earned lunch featuring delicious local dishes. Spend the afternoon at leisure, whether you prefer to unwind at your lodge, take a nature walk, or simply reflect on your incredible gorilla encounter.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Return to Kigali

Wake up to another exciting day as you set out for a golden monkey trek. These lively and curious primates are a delight to watch, with their playful antics and striking golden fur. Spend time observing them in the forest before heading back to your lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed drive back to Kigali. Depending on your schedule, you may have time to explore the city, visit local markets, or pick up souvenirs before being transferred to the airport for your departure. If you’d like to extend your stay, we can arrange an overnight in Kigali so you can experience more of Rwanda’s culture and hospitality.
